Using the Video Player
A custom video interface was created to make it easy to select and view quality videos about science related topics without having the nasty comments displayed in YouTube. A newer Internet browser is needed, Internet Explorer 6 would not work there could be other browser that will not work, IE 7 or greater will work. Adobe Flash needs to be installed as well.

The right side of screen has the Category List in alphabetical order, select the Category you wish to view.

After clicking on a Category, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, the Page-Down key can be used for this also. For the Category selected, a listing with icons will appear. Select the title or click on a picture of the icon you wish to play. The videos are in a Series and if number one of the series is selected, all the videos in a series will play.

The screen has jumped back to the top and the video started to play.
To play in full-screen mode; move your cursor over this icon until it turns into a hand icon that almost completely covers this icon and click. When viewing in full-screen, the resolution (it appears fuzzy) will not be real good, press ESC key to return to normal mode.
Playback Problems
ScienceGuy video player links into YouTube videos. YouTube videos are known to be slow at times and there can be many reasons for this. There are a huge number of videos of YouTube videos being watched everyday; over a billion. The faster your connection is, the smoother the viewing should be, if you are still using a phone modem, forget it. All videos are a little slow to start as the video is buffering. If the data is not moved quick enough the video may pause or freeze for a time. If you pause the video and try later to play it, it should play through uninterrupted.
If you search the Internet for terms related to poor playback in YouTube it becomes apparent that many people are having these issues and there have been many things tried to improve the problem. Some of the areas thought to be related to the playback are: the web browser, the Adobe Flash version, network cards, slow computers, and the time of day.
